I just bought my VERY first Porsche. A 1977 924. I am in need of a drivers side fender and wondered which model years will fit?

Anything from 76-the late 80's will fit as long as it a 924 or 924S. They may differ if they are euro vs north america with the reflector location.

Thanks! I wasnt sure because I saw at least one set for sale that had no hole for the antenna. Also, I have one more question. I have seen MANY pictures of 924's and mine is the only one that has jack holes in front of the rear wheels (missing the covers). Is this only in a certain models?

Do you have a picture of these jack holes?

Also the antenna hole isn't very important. I think it was an option, or an after market addition. The fender should still bolt on the same and be the same dimensions.

Do you have a wrecking yard nearby?

And do you know if your car is a US model or a Euro model?

Post the VIN number and I can tell you.

Welcome to the Porsche club!

Not sure what you mean by "jacking holes". On the 924/44/68 there are "pads" located behind the front and forward of the rear wheels just under the pinch welds. Also in about the center is a triangle visible on the body (down low) that has a bracket behind it and will raise the whole side at once (early 924 only).

You must have the early rear suspension like the 76 models...they could actually pull the torsion bars through those removeable covers on the rockers. My 76 has those.

The later rear suspension requires you to drop the entire thing to do a torsion bar adjustment where as the early can be done on the car.

That would be a nice upgrade for a track car. Use a hole saw, and find some nice plugs.

Junk yard should have them.
