Well, I finally got my camera from my son at college, and managed to get some pics to share.

Why didnt you tell me it was black? I have a soft spot in my heart for black 924S cars. When I got my second one it had a pinstripe on it just like yours. I put my wife to work peeling it all off, and removed the adhesive with a bottle of bug and tar remover. You are driving my car. I like it.

Beautiful car! I would like to see some shots of the interior, however... _________________ -1977 924, 4-Spd...Gone

Great looking car. It's so good to be getting some pics of well presented cars. Very motivational.
I'm grabbing those to add to the daily header pics. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

what? sure the cars alright, but its no great looking car, those rims are not suposed to be yellow, that antena, that strip, and that lowwer vanlance!
i am sorry for ripping on your car but i just need to point out some areas for improvement, trust me, without the yellowish rims your car will look alot better, ive got 3 sets of phone dial rims with tires, one nice looking 16inch 951 set, 1 set of stock rims with winter tires, and a set of stock rims that were yellow but i painted them black. but i like driving on the 16's though it screws with the spedometer and gearing, there about 10% smaller than stock. _________________ 1979 924 parting ways

Thanks for the input colin....a little history for you though. I have only had this car for about 5 weeks, and I spent all that time getting it back to a running condition. It had previously sat unattended for 10 years in a garage. Basically I put the pics up to share and to show the folks who have helped me what my car looks like. It's not perfect...I know that, but it isn't too bad either, theres nothing that I can't fix.

That car looks really great for a 20 year old car. No peeling clear coat, no big dents. Paint still glossy. A little cosmetic work would make it perfect. Phone dial rims are almost always faded like that.
