has anybody done a toyota 2jz swap
toyota supras are one of the fastest tunners out there its cause of their 2jz
the motor is capable of over 1000 horse so its good
i know that the transaxle in the porsche would explode with that much power but i think that it would be worth it
and then you were going to go through the trouble of putting a 2jz in the 924 y not just swap the entire supra drive train in to it
the you could call you car the Torch spelled Torsche _________________ The Ginger

Sorta long and tall to stuff in there. It is a German engineered lump, though. _________________ Toofah King Bad

You wouldn't explode a 951 transaxle. They are used in 944 V8 swaps very successfully. There is a 383 LT1, a Magnison supercharged LS1, a highly modified Grand National v6 already used in these cars. The GT40 replicas very commonly use 016 AUDI transaxles without too much trouble. There is a guy that builds Diablo replicas using supercharged GM v6's that does burnouts with the car without problems after he fitted t steel strengthening plate between the rear housing and rear pinion gear housing.
I have a G31 in mine (yet to run) but I have a 470 HP small block Chevy in it. I don't expect problrms. |

im talking about my porsches transaxle
ive got an early 77 with the 4 speed
im worried about it goin boom when i put a gm 3800 v6 in it
i no for a fact it would explode with a 1000 horse 2jz in it
o yea think the 4spd will handle double the stock power with the 3800 _________________ The Ginger
