I am broke a switch for my power windows and have decided to replace all three.
One is already missing
Are they all the same or not as I might have misread some of answers in the previous messages when I searched for power Windows ?
My part number is 477 959 622 89S

I, we, or you could look up the answer to that, but how about you give it a try.. Download the PET parts list that's linked-to from the top of the How-To section. It'll tell you how many of each switch, by part number, is needed. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Did that first, then looked at the forum messages under search, finally asked the question.
The PET picture only shows two of the three switches page 225 /410.
and yes on the next page it does say quantity 3.
But I thought I saw a reference in the posted messages that the switch on the drivers door for the passengers door was different.
And that is the one missing

You got it - all three are the same (you had to make me look, right?).
That guy with the one different switch may have had one (or two) of the updated versions along with two (or one) of the earlier 924 versions. Apparently the later version's done away with the ball bearings and is a more reliable design, so you might want to be sure you're getting the later ones when you buy them. I've no idea what else might be involved - whether new bezels would be needed too, etc.. Again, you could get some clues from the PET listing by looking up later cars in the 944, etc. line and note when the part number changes. _________________ "..it's made in Germany.
