I'm going to be getting a Martini back on the road soon and was wondering who else out there has one?

Anybody got any great pictures?

Also, are they 77 or 77.5?

Thanks all,

Adam

hey dude, i bought a Martini a few months back, not sure whether it's a 77 or a 77.5, all i know is that it was a US spec car that ended up in Western Australia, and then in Tasmania, where it is now.

haven't really taken any photos, but good luck with yours!

Thanks for the news on your Martini. Where do you live in Tasmania? I visited Hobart for a week about two years ago in July. It was fantastic! What an absolutely beautiful area!!

Plugging the VIN into the decoder at the 924 Registry (link above) should tell you if it`s a `77 or a `77.5. A `77.5 should come up as a `78.

i'm in Hobart, and will be for a few years to come. Hopefully when i move to the mainland my Porsche will come with me!

Tassie does have some special spots, that's for sure

the registry says mine's a 1977 from California, does that mean it was detuned?

Mine comes up as a "USA, California" and a 77. Mine was purchased in the Spring of 77 in Albany, NY. ( I know because I was there...a only 5. ) So I think that means that it is either a USA or a specific California car. But I could be wrong, anyone know better?

I thought that I had read that cars actualy built in 1977 were 77.5 and cars built in 1976 for the 1977 model year were 77. Is this right?
