Hello,
i bought an fiberglass front panel for my racer. Ik want to cut holes in it exactly like a 924 Turbo one.
Can anybody measure it an give me the exact sizes of the holes and the distance from the site/ top and bottom. _________________ 937 trackday car

There's some discussion here on how the originals were done (holes were cut undersize, then the edges rolled in for strength, etc.). Obviously you can't do that with fiberglass, but the point is that you should do some kind of reinforcing from behind once the holes are cut. There's also a good pic on the second page of the topic that could be printed and used to determine the size, spacing, and positions of the openings by scale conversion - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=22088
, but for actual measurements on the individual openings, they are 64mm(Height) x 168mm(Width) x 168mm(Diagonal) (width = diagonal because of the shape which is not a straight sided rectangle (obviously the sides are curved and corners are rounded)), and the full distance from the left side of the left opening to the right side of the right opening is 713mm, so the spacing between each at center is 13.66mm ((713 - (168x4) = 41) / 3 = 13.66mm) (make it 14mm ) _________________ "..it's made in Germany. Good luck with that... a far easier route would've been to buy a FG panel with the holes already in it... _________________ Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about Porsche!
