Well, we know there are very few 931s left.

How many are accounted for here, on 924.org?

Almost runnin. Just a engine rebuild, and some minor things like taking down all suspension parts and brakes. Fixing it all upp, and installing stiffer springs, bars and adjustable dampers. New discs, hoses, racing pads. E.t.c....

It will be a long winter in the garaget..

You probably should have posted this under the 931 discussion area.

We've got a dead '82 931 in our garage right now. Don't know when we'll have time to rebuild it but my wife absolutely will not part with it. Very dusty right now...

Click the 924 Registry link at the top of the page and view the register entries (select 931 if you want to see just turbos). Most of the guys in the registry are or have been members here.

Almost-running kind-of-931 with lots of mods and hoping to start in a few weeks.

For the Euro versions and the ones in the US start with the 79 model year. Mine is running and in my garage in Fla. waiting for me.

I made the trip of about 1200 miles without problems in early June.

Update...............The 79 931 is alive and well driven daily mostly to the beach for sun and fishing. Only one problem remains and that is the slow wiper movement. Other than that it runs and looks fine.

hey Brian. Its been a long time. I just got my 80 931 on the road 2 weeks ago. Its been driving me to work. My N/A kicked my ass into gear when an engine mount bolt broke. I decided to work hard and get the 931 running to get me to work. Tonight I got the N/A running so now both of my 80 924s are running.

Benino, Great to hear from you! Congrats on getting that 931 on the road. We should plan a road trip someday soon and Go tear up some roads 931 style. I did manage to get a large rear spoiler and some nice wheels on mine since you have seen it last.
