OK, before you think Im just plain dumb, I have had the car apart for about 5 years and I am nearing completion. I went to put the DME in last night and I absolutely can not find anything to which I believe it mounts. As I said, it was a long time ago I took it apart, and at the time I was not in the habit of taking pictures of everything I take apart.

Would anyone kindly run out to their 924S and snap a quick shot of the location of the DME. I have been in there for way to long to not be able to figure this out. I even looked in my two parts cars that are stripped and still can not find the mounting location.

Thanks much appreceated, Hopefully I am within weeks of getting this project finished!

Bruce

hope this helps. I thread jacked someone to post it. Anyway, you have to remove the top fuse box to get to it. PS, as you probably know, you risk being stuck under the steering wheel if not removed first

Well hmm, that does help me a lot, however it is still a mystery as I cant figure how it will mount there. I did however find some brackets that look like they should fit the DME, although I'm not sure how they fit there - I even tried it there (before I read your post).

I guess I have to keep trying - but now at least I know the spot!

Thanks,

Bruce
