I am working on my exhaust system and started to think about exiting the exhaust just in front of the (U.S.) drivers' side rear tire. I wondered if anyone else has done this and what your thoughts are on the look and sound. For now I am using 2-1/2 inch pipe through a round magnaflow muffler. I am almost to the point where I need to decide in order to finish the project. Any thoughts or input would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
B

Too easy to damage if you go offroading, intentionally or not.

There's also the problem of heat coming up through the floor...

I did do it on mine,

I used 2.5" pipe, I could only get a cherry bomb to work under the middle everything else was too big and would have been torn off on speed bumps etc.

Be forwarned it was LOUD

Lizard -
how/where did you attach the tail pipe? I was looking at a few places but was not sure where it was safe to drill into.

I had one hanger right off the headers, another at the 90 and that was it, I didnt get too much flex in it and didnt hear much banging at all.
