Hey, I was chased home (partway) by a red 931 yesterday... he couldn't keep up, due to traffic, but I was (for once!) driving my silver '82... he was right behind me, I waved, but he was too cool to wave back... wasn't anyone here, was it?? I didn't recognize the driver, but could hardly see him over the dash...
Boy was it ever cool to have a couple together on the road! _________________ Vaughan Scott

we need a "sightings" thread, just for stuff like this.. there are so few of us , and where spread out so far, that id bet most 924/931 owners eventually find this place, though many may not post. _________________ Eric

OT: oh man i realy want a 356 cabrio....i'm in love with those cars !!
this one in the picture is a replica.....i'd realy like a replica as they are all fiberglass and have nice brakes and nice modern engines....and they dont cost a fortune ast the rusty originals do. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

There are actually a fair number of 924s and 944s right in my town, south of Atlanta. They're always good for a wave and a honk
My favorite though is still the mid 70's 911 turbo who shot up behind me on the interstate into the city. He flicked his lights and waved then we shot off down the road, err.... exuberantly. _________________ 1987 924S: Very much in love with it, even if it's all finnicky |

924guy I'm with you, we do need a thread like that.
My girlfriend and I saw a 55' 356 1600 cabrio in town here one day, and saw him pull into a dealership, so I go in after him, found out he owned the place haha, but he said it had been wrecked, burned, and redone, with 55k origional miles, but it was still the real thing. I told him I'd trade him straight up, haha. He's like "I appreciate the offer but I could never do it" He was a cool old guy.
