HI !
COULD ANYBODY TELL ME HOW I COULD UPGRADE THE PERFORMANCE OF MY "1980 924 TURBO S" BUT I WANT TO KEEP IT AS MUCH POSSIBLE TO IT'S ORIGINAL STATE ? (MORE POWER BUT NO MAJOR CHANGE)
I WAS THINKING ABOUT PERFORMANE CHIP SUCH AS PRO MAX.
WHAT DO YOU THINK AND IF IT'S POSSIBLE TO INSTALLED A CHIP,
WHERE DOES IT PLUG IN?
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL SUGESTIONS.

Boost is the stuff that comes out of your turbocharger - it's controlled by a part called a "wastegate". Done prudently by a knowledgable individual, boost can be increased some without melting holes in the pistons or blowing up the engine. Leave it alone, and for now...
..See if you can figure out how to make the little letters come out of your keyboard. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

theres some really good chips on the market to make the 1980 924 turbo S go much faster.
i prefer the salt and vinegar type, but i've heard that the cheese and onion also gives great power. Pringles make a great version. plugs right in. just take off the cam cover, and sneak one under each cam lobe. instant POWER.
now, it might sound a little rough for a while, but i PROMISE more power.
I can help you out with all these mods, just send me an international money order for US$5000 and i'll send some chips right along _________________ 1978 924 N/A

Hi Steeny.
May be interested in some chips too, if you can do them for $5000 AUD including shipping to Coffs Harbour and guarantee I`ll get more speeding tickets on the Tullamarine freeway than the hot chilli ones I modded with my laptop.
Cheers, Roger. |
