Hi there, Greetings from up North!
I can't quite figure out the www.ebsracing.com website. Is it me not being able to find it, or have they discontinued a lot of their 924 parts? Can't find any pistons or complete rebuild kits, or even rings for that matter. Somehow my old car seems to want to run (not walk), so I'm accumulating more parts. So far I found a rebuilt head from a '77 Martini Edition (so they said) for $100. Truly was rebuilt, I checked, but have not verified the Martini Edition story. Found a water pump for $10 and a clutch for $20 (still not sure if that's going to go in or not). Many other things, like rings, gaskets, bearings and such were easy to find through Ebay and/or Performance though they kind of stiffed me on the bearings.
So is there be some problem with obtaining 9.3:1 Euro pistons? Or regular old oversized stock pistons?
What about a steering u-joint, and motor mounts?
According to NADA, the car's value has increased significantly in the last 2 years, so there's no reason not to rebuild, 'cept cash of course. _________________ 1977.5 924 "Martini" head / New Old Stock rebuild

EBS is primarily a 6cyl vendor but do carry some 944 parts mostly late model so for a pre 83 924 IIIRC they do not carry these parts any longer..? I know this helps little but you may want to look in other directions. _________________ Dal Glassinger |

EBS is one of those old school places you need to call to deal with them. They are very helpfull and knowledgeable about the 924, I'd call them before you give up on them. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Absolutely, they can get anything. Their online catalog was put together by another outfit, and is woefully incomplete. Give them a call. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Or email them, I've found their email responses to be quite prompt (sometimes within minutes)

Allright, I'll try to get a catalog by email. Looks like their inventory fluctuates quite a bit. Not that I need parts. Really, everything is fine. Not quite sure what fixed it though, I just added a missing overflow tank & correct radiator cap all the starting problems went away. That's after injectors, regulators, filters, cold-start valve, wiring failed to solve the problem. Weird!
Thanks! _________________ 1977.5 924 "Martini" head / New Old Stock rebuild

Just email them and tell them what you need. They don't waste money on publishing a glossy catalog - you want Performance Products for that. _________________ Vaughan Scott

In the excellence magazine they have an add for engine rebuild kits. They have one for the 924 its $380 ish. I also talked to someone that worked there on the phone and he confirmed it. He told me what was in it but I cant remember the details. Im sure its everything you need tho. _________________ '80 924 M471,Wideband O2, Full coilover susp,23/19 sways,Bilstiens,KLA Strut Brace,Roll Bar,Test Pipe,BBS RS, Willwood BBK

I've bought it once or twice - yes it's everything you need, assuming no machining or major components replaced. All rings and bearings, gaskets and seals. Complete. _________________ Vaughan Scott
