to pay for a transaxle rebuild? Not talking the whole thing, myself and the mechanic I saw both think the problem is in the differential.
He said around $2400, seems a little much for just the diff, but maybe I'm just being naive here?

Yeah, he had found a tranny from an '89 924s, but he wanted 1350 for it. Knew that was juuuuust a little more than I would need to pay for one.
Tricky part's finding a used tranny.

Yeah, that's pretty absurd pricing, unless he's talking installed price? Still seems high even at that - trans swap isn't so bad on these cars... _________________ Vaughan Scott

An 89' 924? Didn't they stop making them in 88'?
