Can not remember where I found production years for id car from vin number and where to id engine from engine number , any help from youger or better memories? thanks Jesse

I have the Porsche Factory "Spec" books (914, 924, 924S, & 944), and that is where I look for reliable information on chassis and engine numbers.

If you send me the numbers, I can tell you what market (US, Japan, ROW, etc...), and year the engine was built for.
