Front-lower control arm (aka- "A-arm")?
If yes, a new one from a dealer with the stabilizer bar attachment point would be stupidly expensive. You should be able to find a new one without the attachment tab for roughly $30, then weld or bolt a piece on to take the stabilizer bar.

I think Mk I (and MKII?) VW Golf A-arms are viable replacements and come with the stab. bar bracket.
Edit: Sorry, I've just checked, and you need the Mk I (not Mk II) and it doesn't come with the old-style stabilizer bar bracket. _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)
