lol while watching a Nugget game lastnite I got this idea
to do a search of my dads airport he owned & operated
for about 7 yrs in the 70s.on the internet..
"Man' holy cow hat a gold mine
I scored big time Someone researched
& made a nice website & included it.

* Check it out. http://www.airfields-freeman.com/CO/Airfields_CO_Denver_SE.html#aurora

So yea I know how to fly ust dont have a license
that says I can.. or the hours documented to get one.. . Sure would
like one someday. Had lots of fun at this place growing up that
where Ibuilt my first remote controlled airplane. Painted a bicycle
rode a motor cycle hung out watched an airshow & flew with my dad.
I also was the copilot on nurmuras occasions in his metalic blue
1971 formula 400 firebird.. thats was alot like flying too.

While he owned it paved the runways & installed landing lights
& was able to put together a aircraft rental & flight school
using using a few grumman tigers & cheetah low wing aircraft.

Grumman tigers....fun, although I never got used to a castoring nose wheel and having to hold one of the brakes to keep it straight on take off.

'Yer 'sposed to use the rudder! Although sometimes you have to drag a brake when taxiing with a crosswind.

The fun part is when the nose gear shimmeys like a shopping cart when you land.

Never flown a Grumman though -- this is all with a Katana.

Sorry to hear Joe, keep your chin up. I've been in and out of hospital with my wife over the past month, so I know what its like, there is nothing worse than when someone you love is not well.

Best wishes for your wife's quick recovery!

Of course you use the rudder, but it is worthless on a Tiger for the first 100' so you have to use the right brake to keep it straight. The first time I pushed the throttle to the wall on one of these, I almost drove it right off the left side of the runway!

Ok shes gonna be there for awhile.. Thanks for all your kind words
boy nothing can make a guy happier like watching there team (Denver Nuggets)
open all the wounds on a bad team (Portland Blazers)
.. & kick there butt up & down the court. There's a problem though
shes mad at me & doesn't want me around her right now that much.
She says cause I was yelling at her... I feel bad.

Terri may she find herself & become whole again.
She was diagnosed with mental illness about 20 yrs ago
well she been doing just fantastic for the last 17 yrs.. with
medication.. the bad news they had to take her off the medication
becuae of of blood levels & what staying on it could do to her
organs.. well now shes back to square one & its gonna take awhile
maybe 6 months before she back to herself ... Im just devestated
dealing with all these emotions her mental illness has made it
so we dont see eye to eye right now she doesnt want me around
when she gets out of the hospital she needs her space so were gonna seperate for awhile after 17 yrs Im floored everbody in both families
hers & mine & the doctors have told me its not her its the illness.
.. Im really having a hard time right now.
