| Forgive my ignorance but besides getting the right length is it necessary to get the ignition lead kit specified or can I just get some the right length with the same plugs? As far as I can tell the plugs are all pretty much the same and the only difference is the length, is this right because there seems to be a large selection? The reason I ask is one of mine broke and I'd get the specified ones if I could but it's going to take over a week to order them in. |

Yes, for the non-turbo any good ignition wire should do. For the turbo, I prefer to have the factory style connector, though it's still less critical than as in a 924S or 944. _________________ Vaughan Scott

The only thing I'd watch out for is that the leads are ones with the heat shields on them. Otherwise they'll not last long.
