Not all exactly right. Escorts pre 1991 are 4x108, but 91 and after are 4x100. All focus are 4x108 though. _________________ --Alex--

It is relevent cos somone asked about fitting 914 discs to the rear of a 924.
Seem to think the disk will fit over the drum and bolt on to the drum using the wheel bolts.
As well as using the same 924 wheels.
I said the stud pattern is different IIRC. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Early Mazda's 626 ('79)have the same pattern, I put my old 6 X 16"s on the girlfriends car and they fit...just...

Ozzie,
You recall correctly. The 914 and the 924 have different four bolt spacing. Don't know what the specs. are for the 914, but you could probably find out at ClubNarp.com.
I also don't see the rear rotors fitting over the exisiting 924 hubs even if you redrilled the bolt pattern. I suppose that it could be done with enough machine work, but with the 914 folks going to bigger brakes, why not do a five bolt conversion?

Or you can use 928 rotors as on the S model... not 924S but S for sports... I have seen an S car go with this setup...

I'm happy with the 4 bolt setup.
I was originally going to 5 lug. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Early Mazdas were 4x110, so although they will sometimes fit (depending on the wheel) they aren't ideal. _________________ Andrew

| I'm not sure about the Lfa Romeo, I have a '86 Spider sitting next to a '78 924 in the garage and thought about switching wheels one day, the bolt pattern is the same but they won't clear the blake caliper on the Alfa. |
