|
|
Hi there !
Well, since I've bought my car, I wonder something.
My option codes are : 327, 423, 461, 568, 651 and 931.
I know the translation of every of these codes.
Excepted one.
What does the code "931" mean ?
I already checked in my engine, I do not have a turbo.
The meaning of the code is : "Seat cover rear KKK".
Could someone explain me what it means ?
Thanks a lot !

Perhaps it's the material type in the center of the seats as an option.
I have seen 3 of 4 differect kinds of cloth.
I have a black and white cloth original to my car.
I think other colors including all vinyl were available....
What we need is a sales brochure to be handy by someone right now...
Mine are at home...I'll check tonight if no one else does before I get a chance.
I have also seen the center spokes of the wheels painted black on some cars and not painted on others - was that an option too? |

'lo chaps !
Well, well.
What to say ?
I finally know what does this option code consist in.
In fact, I was chatting about my car with another 924 owner, and I asked him : "Hey, do you what does this mean ?"
And he knew ! So, that "seat cover rear" is a piece of plastic, a kind of cover (ah ah ah) that comes on the rear seats, so as to protect them from sun, mud, dust and thing.
I immediately called my PORSCHE Center, to know if this device was still available. I'm waiting for their answer.
That's all I've got to tell you, if it can help any of you...
Thanks for reading me, and good night !

Well mate, my money is on that its the code that describes what material was used to cover the seat, I think your mate is having a go at you. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I don't think so, actually...
My friend already saw that on another 924.
And, to be true, this is typically the kind of things PORSCHE loves !
I thought about the material of my rear seats, too.
But it's a very classic black Tennis, with white stripes, and false leather between rear seats.
More informations coming soon !
