Anyone that knows exactly the specs of the 8 spoke rims ?

I'm selling a set of 5 to a guy and he is asking me the "ET"

i know they are 4x108 , 14" diameter and 6" wide but i dont know the ET.

All the info the buyer should need is here (from the Tech Section).

Look under backspacing and offset in the spec chart.

ET stands for Einpress-Tiefe.
not sure right now what it means.

According to Google translate, "Einpress-Tiefe" means "offset" and "Einpress Tiefe" (without the dash) means "press depth in".

Hey,


i checked on the net. ET ( einpresstiefe) means the distance between the center of the wheel to the point where it contacts the car.
If you change from ET 30 to ET 25 the track-width will be greater (5 mm).

Check this side www.komplettrad.biz/einpresstiefe.html

The ET size must be on the rim somewhere!(At least when it is a german one.)

ET same as offset.



Looks to me like decreasing offset would decrease track by a factor of two. . .
