Here's some info I posted on the topic a while back ... well actually, it's more than just about the receiver, but you might find it useful since you're upgrading...

I'm using a Blaupunkt Tampa Bay (I think that's the model, but I believe they are NLA) in the '81 NA. None of the other cars have received upgrades yet...too busy with mechanicals to work on the stereo _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I think in one of those threads I mention that I went with the Blaupunkt Bermuda CD/MP3 player and fit perfectly and with the wiring harness from Crutchfield installation was snap.
I don't know if that model is still available but that line certainly gets high praises from me. _________________ -Stu

If you're explicitly looking for Blaupunkt stuff, check these guys out:
http://www.midwestelectronics.com/
They're the more or less official Bosch (Blaupunkt) online retailer, including refurbished units, etc... and handle all our (Bosch) employee purchase programs, etc. They even sell the OEM 944 Reno head unit (though I have no idea why you'd want one)!
They've got the Bermuda on sale right now for $80... _________________ Vaughan Scott
