So, caught up with Min on the weekend. Top bloke. He's got a couple of interesting projects going on.

I was pretty impressed with the Megasquirt install. After seeing it and Min explaining it, I reckon it'd have to be the must-do mod for anyone looking to start seriously upping the performance of the engine. And it's relatively cheap, too!

Of course, it might be worth considering selling your 924 and getting a Hyundai Accent...

We hired one to get up to Min's place. It set the new Winter World Record for the Kelowna-to-Richmond run, 3hrs 15mins... on thirty-five bucks worth of gas! Little bugger cruised at 180km/h! And took speed humps at 120km/h!

All in air-conditioned, slush-box-shifting, power-steering, MP3-playing comfort.

1.5-litres of Fury!

True, true, I can't take credit for the record, it was all Keno's doing.

I'm just picturing Khal dreaming Blues Clues style:

"We have all 3 clues, you know what that means? It's time for our thinking chair!"... "Our first clue - oil in the coolant.".... "Next, a wet spark plug."... "what's that? she's pissing white smoke?!" - "I know, you own a 924 with a blown head gasket! We've just figured out Blues Clues!"

LOL! Hey, Khal, if you make it up to way up north Minnesota (due south of Winnipeg 3 hrs - well, 2 in that rental), be sure to look me up... (I'm in winter quarters now, till Xmas, then back home to Detroit)...

Though why you'd be up there, God only knows...

Glad you could all have a laugh at my expense...

It's good to see some humour creeping back into the 'board. It was getting a little tense there for a while.
