I was looking thru Craigs list this morning, and came across this
ad:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/car/239528575.html
For the money he is asking for this'82 924, I could do the repairs needed on mine, and still have plenty left over for another car!
I am not affiliated with the sale of this car

My car has 50k miles and I bought it for $2k. I don't understand why people post things without pictures, unless they know it's not worth the price. _________________ --Alex--

There was a 924S (track car but not really prepped properly) for sale here for several years. Started at $9000 and slowly dropped. Last time I saw it was somewhere around $7000. A fellow finally bought it for around $4000 I think. Even at 4 it was only just a fair deal; not a steal.
Point is, yeah, sometimes you wonder what folks are thinking. _________________ John

I sent a nice email to the poster of the ad requesting pics, and they sent me back a telephone number. I do not care to call and share my phone number with trolls. I sent them a polite email declining. From their lack of info either they're dreaming, high, or trying to sell a 924 Carrera GT. I would spend that kind of cash on a perfect 944 Turbo, but not on a "low mileage" 924. Just my thoughts. _________________ Rich T.

Ha, considering the toll "storage" can take, he must mean "best offer over $1000!" _________________ Toofah King Bad

Ok, I could not resist temptation, I just had to email this person and ask for pics.. According to the reply she is selling this Porsche for a friend, who will be putting up pics soon...it is also a manuel tranny, has AC, everything else is orginal and flawless. Also kept in heated storage. _________________ '79 924 (mine)
