| i changed the oil in my 77 924 na and noticed a great amount of fuel mixed in with the oil. im wondering if someone can help me figure out why i have gas in my oil and why the car wont start. im thinking fuel injectors are bad, or my CSV is bad. or could it be somthing else? fuel distributor? please help |

Try unplugging the connector from the CSV. If you're running that rich, as Paul suggests, this might get the car started so that you can then see the effect of adjusting the mixture. _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Fuel in the oil is normally the result of lots of cranking with fuel flow but without starting; all that gas washes down the cylinder walls and into the pan.

Fuel distributors can fail in a mode that keeps one injector constantly spraying. I would pull the injectors out and check the spray pattern and volume before doing anything else. _________________ 1980 931S

| my tailpipe is black. and i have alot of fuel in my oil more then u normaly would. how do i test the injectors? or how would i find out if it would be the distributor? i will futher tinker with this issue tonight to see what i come up with and let everybody know. thx for all the replys so far |
