Anyone in scotland know of any breakers that might have doors with glass in them, or anyone know how to re-bond the steel onto the bottom of the glass, as I have not opened the drivers window now for almost 4 months

The interior blower does better anyway due to the car's aerodynamics being so good nothing comes into the car air wise.

You want to use black urethane. I tried black RTV one and it held for 2 days. Make sure both the glass and the bracket are clean of all old urethane, rust, oil, etc. I clean everything with alcohol before I glue them back together.
