Hey, welcome to the board. I think you'll find a lot of good info here. Good luck with the cars.
BTW, you might want to do something with your screen name, man. I mean really lame, I can't believe ANYONE would use the words jazz & guy for a screen name
You might want to check out my screen name for ideas that you could use!
What jazz genres do you enjoy? My taste is pretty eclectic. I get into writing and performing (I play the trombone) jazz with some close friends here in Colorado.
Again, welcome. Cheers, Brian |

Welcome to the board! Lots of great and knowledgeable guys here. I studied jazz for two and a half years in music school. Made a living as a rock player/singer and sound tech for a long time. Taught too. Still do all of the above.

Shhhhh! Don't tell! Yeah, I've been mistaken for Sebastian Bach from Skid Row many times. Look like him, sound like him kinda. _________________ '88 944 Auto - may or may not resurrect |

Good to see all the interest in jazz here on the board.
In a previous life I graduated with a music degree, taught instrumental music, played in the symphony, was a mercenary musician for a large Denver talent agency, played lots of jazz gigs and led a big band for 14 years. Then reality (life) hit me upside the head and I had to start make a real living. I still write and play but only do my own small group stuff. I don't have any regrets, the journey has been fun and family life has been better than I could have imagined. Music will always be a major part of my life.
My regards go out to any of you who are trying to make it playing music. Good luck and above all, have fun.
Cheers, Brian |
