Today I am writing this to vent the frustration I have had with my 931....no its not the car that I have problems with, it's what keeps happening to my car that I have problems with. I have had my car now for five years and it is my daily driver. I guess it first started three years ago when I was walking back from a class a noticed that someone had run into my passenger door.....and fender (yes it was sitting in a parking lot) The next incident happened last year when a deer ran out into the road and hit me in the fender...right next to the door. It broke my strut and bent my rim. I bumped out my fender the best that I could and noticed a lot of bondo in the area that had been hit the past two occasions. This past summer while driving down a busy city road at 35 mph a dog ran into my car.....let me repeat that....the dog ran into my car at yes the same spot as all the other times. All I can say at this point is I'm glad I haven't gotten around to getting a new fender and painting my car like I have been planning the past two years....and then there was last night. for whatever reason besides stupidity two cars were racing down a road that I happend to be driving the other way on, now most people would be smart enought to do that on a road were there is no traffic and were there are no curves but not these two smart guys. I swerved to miss them and ended up fishtailing until my ass end slid into a two foot deep ditch, it bent the bottom of the same passenger fender, pancaked my nice stainless steel exhust tip, and as of yet I dont know what is wrong with my rear passenger wheel which is off kilter now (I'm thinking a u-joint possibly, nothing looks broken, nothing looks bent but the brake looks locked up and the camber is off) Now am I the only one that has awesome luck like that? The only thing I can think of is that fender is out to get me one way or another. I'd hate to get rid of the car, but with the luck I've had with it I just might have to.

i think the only person who beats you with worse luck is Neil924, he had I think 3 or 4 incidents within a month

I feel your pain... Since 2000, my 931 has been backed into by an suv, hit and run'd by a van while i was at a funeral, been through a couple of turbos, my sports seats have been attacked by mold in the fl heat, and all sorts of other stuff. some of it i couldve avoided, some not, but Sometimes i think if it werent for bad luck, id have no luck at all. then again, it certainly keeps life interesting! all you can do is keep plodding on... besides think of all the things you learn from those experiences, and no matter how bad things may seem, theres someone else out there that has it worse...

Some things you might learn
1. How to put up your hands in front of your face real fast and scream
2. Fill in the spaces in your shorts
3. Learn how to remove urine from the seat foam
4. How loud you can curse.
6. You start looking for a cannon to put in front of your car.

Im pretty lucky so far I guess. I always see people almost pull out in front of me. Its like they dont see me until the last second. I hate that. I guess our cars are so small they are hard to spot, but its not like its invisible. Its always women in SUV's talking on their damn phones. Those are the people who cant parallel park, and park backwards on a street. ugh.

Huh? What's wrong with that then? Still at least I can parallel park though! Can't figure how anybody could miss a 924 but I sometimes have difficulty getting out of side roads onto a main road when there's a big vehicle parking blocking my view. That bonnet feels so long!

I had some horrible so-and-so hit my car with a workman's vehicle. The wheels were almost as high as my car but there was no excuse. Unfortunately I couldn't prove it was him. Though I know it was the one eyed deaf b*****d as he was the only workman driving the thing.

I used to sing for a band about an hour away, down lovely country roads, but always came home at about 3 in the morning. I've hit so many porcupines my friends call my car a Porschecupine. I've considered painting kill markings on my door. Birds, porcupines, rabbits, gophers, mice - you name it, pretty much. One porcupine was huge - it took out my valance, smashed the rad up against the block, smashed the cooling fans. I drove the car another half hour home with no trouble, and the insurance guy spent the morning counting porcupine quills. While the car was down I borrowed my mother's Lincoln and hit a rabbit in it. Then I borrowed my stepfather's Bronco and killed a porcupine in it! Our guitar player's cats used to hang around the front of my car when I got to his place, looking for dead birds. And no, I don't drive like a maniac.
