Theres a whole below the brake booster about 12" down with about 4 or 5 other wires going through it... from the inside its a few inches up from the clutch pedal. I just fed it through there.. You may need to get a wire coat hanger and straighten it out and use that to feed it through there and make sure it doesn't get wrapped around anything.

I used the thin plastic line that came with my gauge and fed it through a grommet near the cold start valve. 3rd pic here - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=11407&start=2

Interesting pic. . .that hole was empty? I bet it's for a GT boost gauge. Those nutty krauts!

I found that the easiest was to drill a small hole next to the grill for the fan motor, place a grommet in it and pass the tube through there. Its pretty easy to access once you have the console off.
