I had an interesting discussion with a bloke in a Ford this morning.
Coming the towards me, he overtook a truck and we met head-on on my side of the road, causing us both to brake to a standstill. I wound my window down to give him some pointers on looking ahead to see what's coming before attempting to overtake, to which his comment was "Get a proper Porsche!" _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Well, For some reason people think its funny to take advantage of the frost on my rear hatch glass to draw phalices. har har. That is no where near as bad as what happened to you, but still, both arent that funny.

in a drunken stupor i told a guy in a boxster to get a real porsche, commenting that only 911's and 924's were real porsches
he didn't think it was funny that i prefered by beaten up 924 to his shiny boxster.
but aside from that, i hate it when people do something so stupid on the road that it probably should result in they're death, and all they can do is shrug it off as if its nothing. screw the ford driver, i would have taken to his windscreen with the steering lock. _________________ 1978 924 N/A

Most modern Porsches are leases anyway. Therefore when talking to new car owners I mention how terrible it is to see most Porsches on lease and that most cannot afford them. A slow burn occurs.
Then I tell them I have a 924. Wait a while and mention my 924 turbo and then wait the couple of minutes before laughing and tell them about the 911 Targa. They get the message and leave. _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

Thats the sort of thing my wife does when someone says " porsche owners have something to prove" like they would ever know. _________________ Rick
