I have been lookign around for fome 928 teledials to put on my 931. The best price I can seem to find is £500 GBP for a set that needs refurbishing. He wanted £600 for the trashcans.

Is this about the going rate, or am I better looking around a bit more? I am in the UK, if anyone has any sugegstions of who I might try.

thanks,

I would try asking the 928 guys on rennlist, if you are a member that is

I doubt that it should be that much for used flat dishes, maybe phone dials though

every breaker I called wanted 400 + VAT upwards for 'wheels that came off a 20 year old car' as they put it, so I presume they were'nt that good condition wise. Got a good deal on some 16" trashcans through a friend in the end. I don't like them as much as the phone dials, but they'll make my car look so much better as it's on very tatty spiderwebs at the moment, which just look dreadful.

Do you mean 16's? - the 928 was fitted with both 15 and 16 x7 teledials

16" teledials are very hard to find - 15x7 come up regularly on ebay & you should pick up a good set for under GBP 100.

The 16" rims were also fitted to 944 turbos, mainly early ones (7 & 8J, both early & late offsets, so be careful!)

The early 928's with auto transmissions came standard with the 15x7 phonedials and the early 5 speed versions came with 16x7's. Early 944's came with 15x7 phonedials but the offset was smaller than the 928's.

I have a set of 16x7 phonedials but they are in bad shape with a lot of curb rash and one bent lip. Doubt if they would be worth shipping to England.
