For use with a set of 88mm pistons, what are my head gasket options??
will the stock 931 gasket still do the trick?? I seem to remember there being a couple of mm around the bore last time I replaced the head gasket... Would all this be taken up by crush??
Otherwise what are these like... they're the triple stainless steel gaskets

any thoughts??

Ok, so the ID of a new 924 turbo head gasket is 88.5mm...
How much space will it take up during crush??
Does anyone have a used head gasket they can measure the ID of??
thanks...

I fitted 87.5 mm pistons and used a Goetze gasket with no clearance issues. Don't think that another 1/2 mm will make a difference. _________________ 1979 Series 1 924 turbo |
