Been driving my 924S and 931 around a bit after a two year break and they're very smooth at speed but at low speeds around town etc they're a pair of trucks. Shuddering and bucking. Were they like this new?
If not, what's the usual cause? A worn drivetrain?

PS I'm on the hwy today in the 931 doing about 90 MPH and the pack of vans and SUV's in front of me pull away like I'm standing still!

Does this mean you had 2 year old gas in the system? Almost sounds like gummed up fuel injection components. You might try running a bottle of Porsche recommended Chevron Techron through the fuel system to clean things out a bit. If that doesn't clear things up, check your injector spray patterns.

The fuel has been used up and replaced but I might try that Techron for the injectors.

thanks,

If you haven't already done so, change your fuel filter too.
