I have Photoshop'ed my car to get an idea of how it might look with different wheel styles.
The pics simulate a 30mm lowering of the car and 17 inch rims.
Make your pic!

If I'm completely honest, I'm not really too keen on any of them! But of the choices above I think style 2 is good. Quite different without being over the top and it seems to suit the car quite well.
Just my opinion! _________________ Pete

Wow, good way to decide what rims to use. I think style four painted white might look really good.

Style one makes the car look like it is faster than it is. _________________ '79 924 now Totaled! Carrera GT bodywork for sale!

| Style 1 is the same kind of wheel I'll be putting on my car. Although, I'll put 19", if not even 20", in the back with loooots of backspacing. It'll look wicked. |

I like a lot of the wheels but on that car in that color, style 7 appears to be the proper choice IMO.
Enjoy! _________________ -Stu

Well... I actually got to make a bigger decision now.
I am using my 928 S4 as the daily driver, but need to have a extra car for the most snowy days (and when the 928 is beeing serviced) so I bought the 924 for that pourpose (and some track fun).
BUT, I also got a Fiat barchetta wich has been in storage the last 1 1/2 year beacuse of engine trouble, but I manage to fix it myself, and actually got it back on the road again today.
I now have 3 roadworthy cars + my wifes kid hauler (Voyager) and the driveway is starting to get crowded. My neighbours tease me of beeing a car seller and my wife is determent that one car got to go
But I have had the barchetta since '98 so I'm kinda emotional about it (even though it's not a Porsche), but on the other hand the 924 is a real nostalgy trip, since I had one 14 years ago, and in some strange (or sick egotrip) way it is nice to know that you own 2 Porsches
But the winter is coming soon and I only got garage space for 2 cars for at least until after the winter, So the question now is to sell or not to sell the 924 ???
sad but true... unless you guys got some good advice on how to turn my wife around? I guess the idea of putting it in remote storage and hope she forgets about it, is a bit naive. _________________ 1982 Porsche 924 na My 924 blog
