Thanks for all your help on the 924, it went for my full asking price yesterday. The amount of people who saw it and thought it was too cheap was amazing, but then none of them were necessarily in a position to buy a car which had one day of MOT and one day of Tax left. Anyway I'm happy its gone to a good home in Solihull to live with another 924 Whats more I got to have a blast by delivering it too.

Now, back to that 931..

Awww. Least she's got a friend. Hope she's not going to be a parts car?!

No thank god, the chap who has the 924 already has loaned his son the money to have his own

I drove the son back to Solihull (40miles or so) and the chap was driving his own 924. The irony is that this was the first time I'd head-to-headed the car against a standard 924, and mine was nicely quicker. I pulled away from him in his standard car in mine and there were two of us aboard. The son also mentioned that mine (now his) sounded nicer than his dads

ahhh....

Aaah, good to hear and nice to know that the mods did their job after all.
