Oh yeah. So after replacing the tie rods & fuel accumulator today, I went to the store in my little monster. It came without any "Porsche" script on the back next to the "924" so I bought a Porsche crest off ebay for about $13 bucks & stuck it on the back next to the "924" with some epoxy. There was one remaining stud on the crest, so it went in the hole where the "Porsche" script goes, but I didn't use a nut (dammit). When I went into the store some bitch hippie or something came along and cut the crest off. If I had caught them I'd still be beating them down. In jail I guess, but the point is, I got it ripped off. damn it.
So the store wont let me see their surveillance tapes without the cops investigating something, and the cops dont like to be bothered with this type of piddiley shit of course, so there's just nothing I can do except drive around with a nasty looking gouge where the crest used to be & hope I hit him square in the ribs when I catch him.
Bastards!

I think its better to lose the badge then it is having someone cause damage to the car when they are trying to remove it. A gouge isnt too bad it could have been a lot worse such as pulled up/dented body metal.

I dont use nuts on the front badge either its just press fit with bushings.
Chris.

The stores response is crap. Sounds like they are trying to dodge a liability issue. We all know the police are too busy generating revenue (writing speeding tickets) to be bothered with small crimes. Is the store a national chain? If they have a web site, try airing your complaint through it.

Good luck,

Dennis
