so after prepping the bumpers for paint today, i installed them. the rear went in just fine with no problems, but as i put the front on, and bolted it loosley, it seemed to be of allignment. i wiggled it around and such but it still seems that the drivers side part is too far away from the car, because there is a small gap in between the bumper and the nose of the car. its hard to explain, i guess, and i dont have a digital camera handy. what is there i can do to get it straight? is there adjusters on the bumper shocks, becuase thats the only think i can think of that could be a problem. thanks in advance.

I have taken my bumpers off many many times. If I switched them which is often I found that they do not fit right. Try this....put the bolt in the right side first loosely then but in the left side. If it does not work reverse them. You may have to take a thick rod and get it in the hole to line it up.

You can also loosen the shocks a little and wiggle them to line up the bumper. It will be tight but you can tighten the shocks after.

those little suckers like to rotate too
makes them a real hassle when they are not quite inline
and it only has to be a fraction of degree to make it off kilter
Whatever you do, DO NOT CLAMP THE BODY INTO A VICE...
or heat them for that matter
pipe bombs waiting to go off
