Now would be a great time to move the license plate to the bumper and add the rear lens kit.
IMO, it makes for a dramatic improvement. _________________ -Stu

The rear center reflector will be going in, not to worry, but I'm probably going to fab up a better plate holder than the one that comes with the kit.
and as I have said in other posts, there is NO WAY Im shaving off those side marker lights. If im gonna fill them, Im filling them with the original lights.... |

Wow, when is that project getting started? You have quite a taste in cars, and you do a good job on them!

That project is already started. The REAL question is when will it be done???
Just collecting up all of the parts is time consuming...
And thanks for appreciating the work, but I cant take credit for a lot of it.
The guy in the photos, Dan Knapp is the real talent.
He owns Werkstadt Racing in Waterbury, Vermont.
He rents out and tech. supports his own race cars. Amazing stuff really.
When the race season winds down he does restorations and hop ups.
He does everything too, engine rebuilds, tranny rebuilds, body, paint , electrical, you name it. To race specs at that!
As a matter of fact, that is a Saab Sonnett III under one of the tarps in the pictures that he will be restoring in a few weeks.
He used to be head engineer for a Star Mazda series team a few years ago out in Phoenix. Did I mention he worked on the Hugo Boss GTP car for a while too?
If you're in New England, he's the go to guy, for sure.
Here's a pic of some customer's cars he's done.
You shoulda seen the grey one when it got to his place!

sorry about the pictures guys! you all have overshot my bandwidth!
Ill have new pics for the weekend, tho. Ill have it out in the sun.
Ive taken all of the masking off, and have put just about everything back on it. Plus, I've added a set of Design- 90 (16") from a 1991 911 C2. I gotta admit, the thing looks STUNNING. |
