|
|
Hello,
after a long period (time) we completed the rebuilding of a 931 engine. Now when we start the engine, it goes immediately. But then it runs very rough, even when the engine is at normal operating temperature. At the high revs it runs very good, also very good driving performance.
The iginitiontiming is at 6° BTDC. 950 rpm.
What can be wrong?
- dump valve?
- vacuum hoses leaking (were replaced and no leaks found)
- timing belt wrong?
help!!

Check the normal suspects:
air leaks
spark plugs (check for nice blue spark)
spark plug wires
cap and rotor
camshaft timing _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
