Its possible to put it in any 924 really... Its clearly not a bolt in issue, it will take some custom work and what not. _________________ [This Space For Rent] |

Yes.
Two out of their six sales in the last month are rated as negative, with buyers waiting near or over a month for delivery before posting negative feedback.
And there's still this one hanging over them (particularly bad, it appears).
Very much a case of BUYER BEWARE! _________________ '80 924 Turbo |

| You can get them from the guy who actually makes them, Thomas Knight www.boosthead.com in Miami. I have dealt with him before. He returns all of his emails and phone calls promptly and will support his products. |

I took a look at the ebay auction..I for the life of me couldn't find the link to the feedback? Must be a reason for that. _________________ 1976 924

Was my birthday sat...still recovering....why did I drink so dam much????
The feedback isn't nearly as bad as what we have seen on this board. My feedback is at 96% ..I have learned that if you leave bad feedback for a bad transaction...you can bet they will leave you bad feedback...so it pays to always have something nice to say....kinda like the ol "eat shit and grin" saying. _________________ 1976 924

I see how I could make this work on a 924, but I wonder about the extra load on the alternator pulley and bearing. I'd run it on the crank instead. It will take some engineering to get the right diameter pulley, luckily I started on this project awhile ago. I was going to use an old Novi unit, fabricate a crank pulley and brackets. The Novi is too big and heavy, and is made for a Mustang. For a 924 the engine probably would eat half it's power to turn the thing. It might be easier to use the Thomas Knight setup instead. The fuel system is my main concern. Extra air needs extra fuel, and the extra fuel part sounds too damn expensive. _________________ Shut up fool, those are mine. |
