| NO, the idle speed is governed by the computer. If you engine has an idle speed problem, then the engine has a problem that needs correction. Could be as simple as a leaking or disconnected vacuum line or electrical sensor. |

Or a bad grounds on the back of the motor under the heater control valve, a bad hose on the idle control solenoid, or a bad idle control solenoid, a bad TPS, among many others. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

| Nevermind, I figured it out. Jumped the controller and adjusted it to 1100RPM. When i had the head shaved it was shaved to pretty much maximum tolerance thereby raising the compression. The idle at 900rpm was a littly shaky but it smooths way out at 1100.00 Initially I thought it was a broken motor mount. Hold steady and 100% smoother idle. |
