Measuring behind the front wheels from the ground to body and in front of the rear wheels from ground to body my car sits right at 6". I have Koni sports front and rear with prog springs on the front. The actual spring rate is a mystery. Anyhow, I have a set of adjustable ride height struts that came with the car and am thinking about trying them out. I was told they were 250lb springs. If I make the swap, I will have many more questions, but right now I am curious about that ride height. Is it desirable to keep things flat or do you drop the front a little?

Thanks Paul. I checked out the link and found another article specifically for measuring body height.

According to their "ideal" ride height, my front is 0.5" high and the rear is perfect. Measuring to the rear torsion tube he lists 9" and to the bottom of the control arm bolts he lists 5.125" as ideal. I was 9" at the rear but 5.625" at the control arm. So measuring to the bottom edge of the body, according to this article, the front should be close to 0.5" lower than the rear.

Generally handles better when it's level... a little more weight on the rear, keeps it planted.

That makes sense to me.
So those of you that have DE cars that you still drive on the road, how low have you dropped the body? Am I at the limit at 6" to the bottom edge of the body? It seems I don't have a lot of travel as it is and going much lower would limit me to track conditions.
