hello everone, why is it on every 924 i have seen there is no cam belt cover?? is there a problem with them fowling the cam belt or somethng?? i have found one in my local scrapyard and its now in the oven at work being painted, i just wondered if there is a reason or problem with the cover? Thank god this forum is here, thank you to who ever created it.  |

I think its just for ease that people remove it and don't put it back on - you can see any wear/damage to the belt easier without it and it can be a bit of a pain to remove - particularly on the 931.
Mine's in place, but the also do tend to rattle somewhat if they're not bolted in properly! _________________ 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 arctic silver & red
