Anyone know of a local or chain store that carries leather dye?
I want to dye a cream leather rear seat to black. Any products ideas... would prefer to pick it up local than order it.
Let me know

A lot of people use Rit for cloth seats but not sure about leather. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

I did this with a pair of shoes with good results. I went to my local leather shop and got a very good product and they have lasted a very long time (much better than expected). I wear them weekly and they have held up rain or shine.
The products are called:
Lincoln Dye Preparer (to clean the surface and open the pores)
Lincoln Leather Dye (the color)
They can be had online for about $3.95 a bottle you may need a few of each.

It took a little bit of polishing to even out the color after the dying but nothing major. |
