After washing my 924S today i went to open the driver's side door to find that the handle is broken. At first it was very loose but now is very stiff (no blue jokes needed in replys ). It can be opened from the inside however. How much is a new one or is there a way to try and fix it? Thanks for your time as always chaps.

My drivers door handle stopped working from the outside a couple of months ago. I found a Porsche / Volkswagen enthusiast, and it turns out that the door handle is the same one as used on early 90's / late 80's VW Fox. $12 and a free flat black painting.

Where was that from? I've done some Googling but many are charging far more than $12! I saw one that had them for $176!

It was from a guy I found in Salt Lake City that collected and junked VW/Audi/Porsche parts. He had a bag full of these door handles. I think I got one of the last specific Porsche models. While I was there I met a guy that would drifts 928s in to turns at 120 mph.
