I just found a emblem in a box of parts. It goes between the rear brake lights . A Red PORSCHE plastic panel. What car is it from?

It's an after market part. They were made for a lot of models of Porsches.

yeah, i saw a few of those on ebay for somewhere around $50. if i could pick one of those up somewhere in that price range (or lower) that would be excellent.
