is the fuel pump from an 1980 car interchangeble with the fuel pump from an 1983 car? it was in 1979 that porsche reworked the fuel system right?

I think the 1979 ones might not be good...

The 924 fuel pump was even used to feed the 911 and 928 4.xL engines....so i guess...whatever you get its fine (ofcourse make it a BOSCH)
