man, so i dont condone street racing but i had to this time...

girlfriends ex showed up again, this time he threw a dry ice bomb at my house...

he drives a 2006 jetta 1.8t (pos)

so i hoped in the toofah and raced after him caught him and he took off, floored it, took him in all the corners, and everything then he tried to ditch me on the highway near my house.... no avail the 924s stuck it to him... he tried to take a corner to lose me... he broke his back end loose at about 30 i took the corner hot at 40 and stuck to the ground like flys on $@#! all in all, great run after the guy, my girlfriend who i was on the phone with during this convo told me"dont get hurt" so i obeyed, and drove home feeling victorious... parked the toofah in the garage, and he wont try to #!$@ with me again :-p little bugger can go like the wind... oh well... ill talk to ya all later he seems to be circling my house....

That sounds a little more serious than a street race...

i agree with khal. call the cops next time. what if he spins out next time you chase him and you hit him coming around the corner, your fault, and u destroy your car (and his) and could really hurt your self or some one else. just follow him with the police on the phone.

1.8t is a good engine.

it won't be so cool if you or the guy you race crashes or kills someone.

I would think the 924 handles better than the jetta as it's front wheel drive.

Drills a bunch of holes in his muffler during the night so that you know when he's coming next time

What about blow out his tires with a shotgun while driving, then you'll win for sure.

This is best handled without cars being involved. Deck the SOB after he swings first....

I'd watch your car now, he know's what you drive and where you park it. Ass holes that would throw a dry ice bomb into your yard would mess with your car with no regret. Especially if you surprised him like that with it .

LOL that's good....

------

If that guy is messing with you, you should probably get the police involved. Get a record of his behavior with the police so if something happens and you have to protect yourself or your girlfriend you'll have the means to prove you were justified. ahhhh something like that...

I don't get it,what does a dry ice bomb do ?

A buddy had a similar problem and after no help from the police (gotta catch him in the act before they get involved) he went to the guy's house and waited outside around back at 6:00 in the morning. When the guy came out to get in his car to go to work, all sleepy eyed and unaware, my friend just walked up and beat the shit out of him the good old fashioned way.No cops,no witnesses to say who swung first. No problems after that.
