Does the s2 931 single butterfly throttle body flow better than the s1 or is it just better throttle response because it opens one large butterfly all at once.
Can an s1 manifold be ground out to fit the s2 throttle body opening or is the throttle body mount completely different.
If I get an s2 throttle body and intake manifold can I just do a swap or are there more differences. (Such as more or less vacuum hose ports on the t-body and manifold) |
Can't give you definite answers either, but there is some discussion about this in the performance forum, so you might find answers there.
Good luck!
p.s. the dual butterfly on the n/a model is supposed to help with low down torque as opposed to out and out top end BHP from a single butterfly, so I'd guess that with a turbo, there's not that much point going for low down torque if you're off boost... But then again, perhaps you need all the extra torque you can get if you're off boost... errr, that's why I don't know! _________________ 1998 BMW Z3 2.8 arctic silver & red
