Rust, rust, rust....O.K. its perfect now and running on test just fine.
So, should I apply a silicone sealant to rim and where screws go to prevent moister from getting back in? _________________ 77 924 n/a

Cleaned contacts for wiper switch. Now I popped out the speedo,
Like the haynes manual says,( I thought I had to remove dash to get to speedo) and Now I will find tech on speedo repair. I am a happy camper and would NEVER be able to accomplish any of this without YOU GUYS and all the posts I have searched. Again, thank you! _________________ 77 924 n/a

If you have the classic broken odometer then this is the best repair guide I know of http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Mult_gauge_repair/mult_gauge_repair.htm
If your odo is OK then bookmark the article anyway, you will probably eventually need it. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)

Thanks but I just glued and put back together. The little white wheel had moved over enough to no longer engage with the larger wheel so I pulled it out and through some glue on there. Not sure how long it will hold. I will get what you have suggested in case I have to repeat this. _________________ 77 924 n/a
