|

Hello, I am building up my 924S with all of the necessary modifications to conform to PCA rules, as well as attending DE events at every possible oppertunity in order to position myself for PCA racing next year. I am wondering if anyone else is doing likewise and might want to trade some ideas about modifications and the like.In particular, I know that the standard tires are Toyo 225/50/15, and these are pretty big for the narrow fenders of the 924S. PCA legalized lowering springs in the ST-1 class, is lowering my front end going to affect my ability to fit the tires in with only a little bit of fender rolling? Also, any advice on what springs to use? Thanks! _________________ Rule #76: No excuses, play like a champion. |

225 fit fine. Not roomy; but fine. You'll need 'late offset' wheels. 52.3mm or 53.2mm, I never can remember which. Your 924S may have 6 inch wide wheels. Need to ditch those and find the same wheel but 7 inch wide.
The front supsension that works AND it's what the Spec rules also provide for is the kit sold by Paragon. Easy to do and not expensive.
Say hi to Clarke and Linda for me. _________________ John
